Congratulations to our students at the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management for winning first place in four Junior Chef categories at HORECA 2023, the best results out of all participating universities and institutions!
Our winners are:
- Best Burger: Elie Matar, Gold Medal
- Open Cold Sandwich: Christa El Hashem, Gold Medal and the Boecker Prize for Hygiene Practices
- Hot & Cold Lebanese Appetizers: Marc Mousallem and Roudlph Bassil, Silver Medal (highest rank in the category)
- Best Steak Wrap: Mark Rizk, Silver Medal
