Al-Jannan University: Seminar on "Problems of studying history in the Arab world"

The Department of Islamic Studies - The Department of Islamic History at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Al-Jananan University organized a seminar entitled "Problems of studying history in the Arab World", in the conference hall and via Zoom platform, in the presence of professors, students and interested people.

Dean of Faculty of Arts threw an A. D. Hashim Al-Ayoubi, an opening speech in which he referred to, "after a significant decline in applied and experimental sciences, humanities are back to take its role, after those who rely on education and planning in countries realized the importance of science and the danger of its decline."

"If the study of history is at the core of these humanitarian studies, the study opposes many problems in terms of goals, documentation, direction, subjectivity, separation of indicators and others."

In his role, the head of the Department of Islamic Studies - Islamic History at University A. D. "Khalid Terrab" talks about "the importance of history science as it has an important place in the modern world, due to its influences, direct and indirect, on the path of the historical development movement, and the consequential events, situations and repercussions that force us to review our view of history, and the way we deal with it, so we have to correct concepts, and review developments that lead us to Bringing together the glitch of this issue on the academic and public level.

جامعة الجنان: ندوة حول "إشكاليّة دراسة التاريخ في العالم العربيّ

نظّم قسم الدراسات الإسلاميّة - قسم التاريخ الإسلاميّ في كلّية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانيّة في جامعة الجنان ندوة بعنوان"إشكاليّة دراسة التاريخ في العالم العربيّ"، في قاعة المؤتمرات وعبر منصّة زووم، وذلك بحضور أساتذة وطلاّب ومُهتمين.

ألقى عميد كلّية الآداب أ.د."هاشم الأيوبيّ" كلمة افتتاحيّة أشار فيها إلى "أنّه وبعد التراجع الملحوظ أمام العلوم التطبيقيّة والتجريبيّة، عادت العلوم الإنسانيّة تأخذ دورها، بعد أن أدرك القائمون على التربية والتخطيط لدى الدول أهميّة العلوم وخطر تراجعها

وتابع:" إذا كانت دراسة التاريخ تقع في صلب هذه الدراسات الإنسانيّة، فإنّ الدراسة تعترض إشكاليّات كثيرة لجهة الأهداف، التوثيق، التوجيه، الموضوعيّة وفصل المؤشّرات وغيرها"

بدوره رئيس قسم الدراسات الإسلاميّة - التاريخ الإسلاميّ في الجامعة أ.د. "خالد مرعب" تحدّث فيها عن "أهميّة علم التاريخ كونه يتبوّأ مكانة هامّة في العالم المُعاصر، نظراً لتأثيراته، المُباشرة وغير المباشرة، في مسار حركة التطوّر التاريخيّ، وما ينتج عنه من أحداث ومواقف وتداعيات تفرض علينا مراجعة نظرتنا للتاريخ، وطريقة تعاطينا معه، لذا يتوجّب علينا تصحيح المفاهيم، ومراجعة التطوّرات التي تدفعنا إلى استدراك الخلل الحاصل بهذا الشأن على الصعيد الأكاديميّ والشعبيّ معاً
